Campbell’s Tasters #DiscoverCampbells New Products Sample and Share!

As a member of the Campbell’s Tasters Crowd on Crowdtap, I recently was given the great opportunity to sample several of Campbell’s new products! My family has been a long-time user of Campbell’s products, especially the soups and stocks! I was really excited to be able to sample these new items from Campbell’s and share them with my family and loved ones, especially since it was during the holidays when I knew Campbell’s products would be a perfect fit for the season!

I was sent a HUGE box full of Campbell’s items! Included were: a box of Swanson Cream Starter, a can of condensed Creamy Poblano and Queso Great for Cooking soup, a can of Chunky Beer-n-Cheese with Beef and Bacon soup, a jar of Prego Light Homestyle Alfredo Sauce, a box of Savory Portobello Mushroom Soups for Easy Cooking, a pouch of Campbell’s Creamy Parmesan Chicken Skillet Sauces, a microwaveable can of Spaghettios Micros Original, a tub of Slow Kettle Style Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup, a Campbell’s branded shaker, red tote bag, cutting board, and spoon! Also included was a recipe book and great coupons for Campbell’s products!

My family and I were eager to test out the products over the various winter holidays. We followed some of the recipes in the booklet and we also made variations of our own utilizing the Campbell’s products. Overall, we were very pleased with how easy and convenient the new Campbell’s products were to prepare, and how they made our meals so much more efficient while still being tasty and full of authentic flavor!

The Slow Kettle Style Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup was also extremely easy to prepare (in the microwave) and provided me with a warm, flavorful soup during a cold evening!

We were all really impressed with the new Campbell’s products that we tried, and I’m sure all my family members will be purchasing some or all of these items in the future! It’s really nice to have the products as a “base” or “starter”, especially when we are all so busy it can be difficult to prepare meals from scratch in a short amount of time. Campbell’s items really help in that regard and still taste amazingly good!

Italian Dinner Night With #Johnsonville Meatballs!

As a member of Crowdtap and the Johnsonville VIPs crowd, I was excited to recently get a chance to host an Italian Night with Johnsonville Meatballs! This sample and share opportunity was great for the holidays, since frozen meatballs are a convenient and tasty protein for hearty meals during the cold winter months!

I was sent a huge box that included a package of Classic Italian Johnsonville Meatballs and packs of dry ice (to keep the frozen meatballs cold!), as well as an extra coupon for a free bag of Johnsonville Meatballs to purchase at the store. The bag said that it contained approximately 28 meatballs, which is definitely enough for a meal to share with family and friends!

Over the Christmas holiday, my sister visited and we all met up at my parents’ house. I designated one night as our “Johnsonville Italian Dinner Night”, and we made pasta with marinara sauce and the frozen meatballs for our main dish! We also had some salad as well as leftover turkey from a previous holiday dinner.

The meatballs were very simple to prepare, which was much appreciated since cooking during the holidays and for several people can often be stressful! We simply spread the meatballs evenly in one layer over a baking sheet and baked them in the oven! For the sauce, we warmed marinara in a large pot and added some veggies like onions and mushrooms to simmer while the meatballs baked. Then we just stirred in the meatballs after they finished baking in the oven, and voila! Perfect sauce for a pasta night!

We cooked a box of rigatoni pasta and left it separate from the sauce so that each individual could serve up however much he/she wanted and spoon the sauce and meatballs on top him/herself. Parsley worked as a nice garnish and flavoring for the dish!

The meatballs looked wonderful, but they tasted even better than they looked! They were juicy and flavorful, and everyone in my family remarked that they were delicious! Unlike some meatballs we’ve eaten in the past, the Johnsonville meatballs were seasoned well and had a great texture. They were “meaty” and authentic-tasting, not “dry” or “rubbery” like some other brands I’ve tried. The Johnsonville meatballs definitely taste almost “homemade”, and I’m sure we could fool someone who didn’t see the package into believing that the meatballs were not actually frozen!

So overall we all really enjoyed the Johnsonville meatballs! They made our Italian Dinner Night perfect! We especially liked how easy the meatballs were to prepare, without suffering from any loss in quality! I’m sure there are many other simple recipes that we could use Johnsonville meatballs in, such as meatball sandwiches or even baked meatball casseroles! The Classic Italian flavor was perfectly seasoned, and I’m looking forward to trying the other varieties as well!

Scott Naturals Toss the Tube Sample and Share!

Given that Earth is humanity’s only “home”, we should all do what we can to lessen any negative impact we have on the environment. Reducing waste is one way we can all try and be more sustainable. So I thought it was a really great idea when Scott Naturals created tube-free toilet paper! Even saving that little bit of cardboard inside each roll of toilet paper can eventually add up!

 

I was excited to take part in the Scott Naturals Toss the Tube Sample and Share as part of The Simply Scott Squad on Crowdtap! I was sent a package of four tube-free Scott Naturals toilet paper to try and also share with family/friends!

 

Prior to receiving the Scott Naturals Tube-Free Toilet Paper, I had some difficulty imagining “tube-free” rolls. But once I opened the package and saw the samples, I wondered why no one had thought of and made such a product before! It may seem like a little thing to “merely” save the bit of cardboard that comes with regular toilet paper…but I’m sure it all makes a difference in the end, especially if many people start going tube-free!

I took the four-pack of toilet paper to my parents’ house to show them the “innovative” toilet paper 🙂 and also let them try it! Like me, my parents were almost dumbfounded by the fact that no one had made such a product before. They thought it was a great idea, since they are also recently becoming more environmentally conscious, and said that they would look for it in the stores the next time we needed toilet paper.

Plus, besides being “progressive” and “groundbreaking” (in the world of toilet paper!), the Scott Naturals Tube-Free rolls were also high quality and nice to use! 🙂 The paper itself did not feel scratchy or thin, and it was durable but still soft and comfortable for bathroom use!

So the Scott Naturals Tube-Free Toilet Paper won approval from me and my family! It performed well as toilet paper and had the added benefit of also being environmentally friendly! We’ll definitely look for it in the future when shopping for toilet paper, and hopefully others will choose to toss the tube as well!

Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers Sample and Share!

As winter comes on, I’m drinking more hot beverages like coffee. But I’m not a HUGE coffee fan and prefer to have some flavorings to plain coffee. So I was excited when I got the opportunity to sample and share Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers as part of Crowdtap and the Folgers Fan Crowd!

I was sent four packages of Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers, one each of Vanilla, Mocha, Caramel, and Hazelnut. All of them sounded tasty and they smelled wonderful when I opened to cap to take a sniff!

My parents are huge coffee drinkers, so I took the Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers to their house over the weekend for them to try. They enthusiastically sampled all four flavors and we each had a favorite!

I definitely liked the vanilla flavor the most, since I enjoy vanilla in most things! My dad and mom both preferred the hazelnut, although they thought the other flavors were nice as well.

We thought the Flavor Enhancers were easy to use and would definitely be convenient to take with us on-the-go. In fact, my dad said he’d probably bring one to work with him so that he could flavor his coffee throughout the day!

My parents did think that the Mocha flavor had a bit of an “unnatural” taste, sort of like artificial flavoring. It wasn’t so offensive to make the taste totally unappealing, but it was somewhat noticeable.

 

Overall, we really enjoyed trying out the new Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers. They are great in coffee, and I’m sure we will use them in the future for recipes as well as drinks! So thank you Crowdtap and Folgers for the chance to try these new products!

Revive with Ricola Revitalizing Herb Drops Sample and Share!

One of the worst things about the winter season is when you get sick with a cold/the flu and have a sore throat. And sometimes just breathing in the freezing air can make your throat scratchy and achy! So I was excited when I was given the chance to try out the Ricola Revitalizing Herb Drops from Crowdtap as part of the Cough and Cold Crew!

I was sent one package of Lemon Zest Ricola Revitalizing Herb Drops, which contained 18 drops inside to sample and share with others!

I took the bag back to my parents’ house for them to try. My dad often gets a scratchy throat and his voice starts sounding hoarse, so the Ricola drops would be perfect for him!

My mother was extremely excited when I showed her the Ricola Revitalizing Drops! She said, “This is exactly what I need!” She’s been experiencing a lot of uncontrollable coughing lately, which is bothersome and can also keep her up at night. Her doctor told her to take cough drops to soothe her throat, and she said she definitely prefers Ricola over other brands. In fact, she told me, “This is a good brand!” when I showed her the bag, and eagerly took one out to try!

My mom was even more impressed when I told her the Revitalizing Herb Drops included B Vitamins. She remarked, “Wow…so sophisticated!” 🙂 We also found the “effervescent center” to be interesting and fun!

We all agreed that the taste of the Lemon Zest Ricola Revitalizing Herb Drops was appealing, unlike some cough drops that have a chemical or artificial flavor. The drops also did not leave an unpleasant film/coating or aftertaste in my mouth, which was nice. Unlike how one usually thinks of “medicine” as objectionable to take, the Ricola was rather pleasant!

My mom has already mentioned buying more Ricola soon, so that’s proof we found it effective and even enjoyable to take!

Zep Cleansters Sample and Share!

As part of the Zep Cleansters on Crowdtap, I was recently given a chance to sample and share two new Zep cleaning items: Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant and the Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser! I was sent three sample sized spray bottles of the All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser, and two sample sized spray bottles of the Quick Clean Disinfectant.

I took the Zep samples to my parents’ house to share the cleaning power of Zep with them! My parents were excited to try the Zep cleaners, especially the Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser, since things can get quite grimy around the house.

We thought the best place to try out the power of Zep was in the kitchen, where grease easily builds up and can be difficult to get off. The cooking range/stovetop regularly has splatters and oil buildup on the surface, so we tried the Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser on the gunk!

We followed the directions and let the Zep sit for a minute on the surface…I could almost see the Zep cleaner at work, loosening the oil and lifting it off the surface.

On the first wipe, a good coat of oil and grime came away. But since the surface of my parents’ cooktop was so dirty, we had to repeat the application of Zep Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser twice more to get most of it completely off. Nevertheless, the end result was a great improvement!

I also tried the Zep cleaners on the stainless steel surfaces of the range cooktop. They worked well and left the surfaces shiny like a mirror! I could probably see my reflection on them!

We also used the Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant on counter and table tops, and it is perfect since the holiday season is rolling around along with the flu and other illnesses, which hopefully the disinfectant can help keep at bay! It’s nice to have a quick cleaner that kills germs effectively.

So overall, we were happy with the Zep Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser as well as the Quick Clean Disinfectant. Even though we had to use multiple applications of the Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser in order to get most of the grease off of the kitchen appliances, that is to be expected given how difficult the buildup can be to clean. My parents were more than happy to keep a few sample bottles around for quick cleaning jobs!

#FastAdvil Solutions Sample and Share!

Unfortunately, we all experience headaches and pains that often make it hard to work, get things done, and simply enjoy life. When I suffer from these aches, I want quick and effective relief. So I was excited when I got the opportunity to participate in Crowdtap’s #FastAdvil Solutions Sample and Share. I received 8 sample packs of Advil’s film-coated tablets to try out and share with friends and family!

My first choice painkiller has long been Advil, because I find that this brand’s products seem the most effective for me. Since I already trust Advil, I wasn’t surprised when these film-coated tablets worked quickly to relieve a headache I was experiencing. The Advil also seemed to prevent the pain from returning, which was definitely appreciated!

Like me, my parents usually choose Advil to relieve headaches, body aches, and/or fever. Coincidentally, the weekend that I brought some samples back for my parents to try, my father woke up with neck pain and stiffness that hurt enough to impair his ability to turn his head. He took two of the Advil tablets and was happy to report that the pain went away quickly so that he was able to go about his day!

I also took some samples to work for my coworkers to try. They were all glad to receive the samples and coupons to use for Advil, since we all hate suffering from headaches or body pains that affect our ability to work and our productivity!

I thought it was interesting that most of the people I gave samples to made comments along the lines of “Advil is great! I’ve found that it works better than other painkillers for me!” This seemed to be a testament to how effective and trusted Advil is as a brand!

When I asked my coworker why he wasn’t smiling for the picture, he said: “This is how I look when I’m in pain before taking Advil…”

So thank you Advil and Crowdtap for giving me this opportunity to sample and share Advil film-coated tablets to stop pain quickly! It was definitely easy to complete because Advil seemed to promote itself!

Vichy Idealists Sampling from Crowdtap!

Even though I am still relatively young, like any girl skin care is one of the things I worry about! So I was excited when I recently got the chance to take part in the Vichy Laboratories Idealia challenge from Crowdtap! I also knew that my friends and family would enjoy trying out the serum too!

I was sent 8-day samples of Vichy Idelia Life Serum for myself and my friends and family! They came in cute little bags that really set the “tone” of “high-quality, premium skin care brand”!

So here is how the challenge was described:

“For 8 days, we challenge you to live your life to the fullest—eat that 2nd piece of cake, pull an all-nighter, even have that extra drink. Just use Idealia Life Serum twice daily to see your skin quality transform. You have Vichy’s #LifeproofSkin assurance that you’ll still see a transformation in skin quality in 8 days.”

This is perfect for me, because my hectic schedule can mean little rest, stressful days, and sleepness nights, which can cause my skin to break out and also “prematurely age”. In fact, my mother always tells me that I need to relax and stop frowning/squinting/tensing my face because that will make wrinkles appear early! So I was looking forward to improving my skin quality with Vichy Idealia, despite still living a busy life!

I could tell that the serum was indeed high-quality right off the bat. It felt smooth and creamy on my fingertips, and it spread easily over my face. My skin felt “lighter” and “refreshed” after I applied the serum, and it even felt softer just a couple minutes after I tried my first sample!

Over the next 8 days, I applied the serum in the morning and before bed, after I had first washed and dried my face. I did feel like the quality of my skin improved over the week! It was almost like my skin was revitalized and “infused” with a certain kind of “life”. It certainly felt lighter, softer, and even “brighter”, for lack of a better word!

Like I had expected, my mom was really excited to try the Vichy Idealia Serum! She’s at that age where she’s always worrying about the effects of age on her skin and trying to find solutions that will prevent and also “heal” aging effects. She was delighted to have a new product to sample, and after reading the back of the sample packs she remarked, “Wow, these were made in France!”

It was funny, but my mom also made my dad try out the samples! She was lecturing him about how he doesn’t properly care for his skin and that he needs some “preventative and restorative” measures because of all the damage he’s done (and also his age)! So although my dad probably wouldn’t have wanted a sample for himself, he participated in the Vichy Idealia Challenge to humor my mom! And in fact, at the end of the 8 days he told me that he could tell there was a positive difference in his skin! 🙂 My mom also reported that she was very pleased with the serum and liked its effects. I trust her approval because she’s had experience with other name-brand and high-quality skincare products!

I also gave samples to my coworker. She is around my age, and like me, has a busy life that sometimes leads to “skincare neglect”! She was really excited to receive the Vichy samples and told me she’d definitely let me know how the challenge went! Apparently she was very pleased with the serum because before the full 8 days for the challenge had passed, she already came and told me that she really liked the product and could feel that it made a difference!

I had a great time participating in the Vichy Idealia Challenge and sampling the serum, as did my family and friends! It was indeed an exceptional skin care product that revived and rejuvenated my skin! I’ll definitely be on the look-out for Vichy products in the future. Cetaphil Skin Squad #GentlePower Party!

As a member of the Cetaphil Skin Squad on Crowdtap, I was recently able to host a party that featured Cetaphil products! I was sent three full sized products—Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths, Cetaphil RestoraDerm Body Wash, and Cetaphil Moisturizer with 15 SPF—and I also received 10 sample sized items of those three products to give to my guests!

Since I figured skin care products are more interesting for women, I invited several of my mother’s friends from her church. Many of them are middle-aged or older women, and most have skin worries and/or sensitivities, so I was sure they’d enjoy learning about and trying out Cetaphil!

Before I even described the party, some of my guests were already excited, having recognized Cetaphil as a high-quality brand. Indeed, one of my guests remarked:

“Oh, this is a GOOD brand! My skin has been sensitive recently, and the only thing I could use is Cetaphil!”

 

This endorsement definitely helped me kick off the party, and all the guests eagerly examined the products. I described each one and how you would use them. And then came the best part…trying out the products!

Because I wanted my guests to be able to keep their samples intact without opening them, I decided to let them try out the products using the full-sized items I was sent. Everyone took a cleansing wipe, tried out the moisturizer, and also the body wash (at the sink!).

The reactions were all positive. Several people commented that they could tell how gentle the Cetaphil products were. They liked that nothing was overpowering or abrasive. Even the lack of scent, or very light, fresh scent, was seen as a positive because it signified how “clean” and mild the products are.

 

My guests also remarked that the Cetaphil products were very refreshing. They felt like the wipes “calmed” their skin without rubbing away all the moisture (like some more abrasive brands). The moisturizer was light but effective, and a few women said they felt it even helped “perk up” their skin!

 

All my guests enjoyed trying out the Cetaphil and were grateful for the samples! They all asked me where the best place to purchase the brand items was, and also if there were any discounts I knew of. Unfortunately, I wasn’t sent any coupons in my party pack, so I couldn’t hand out any. I know they would have been appreciated!

After trying out the products, we had some snacks to enjoy! Most of the snacks were healthy and light, like fruit, vegetables, and even a fruit-infused water! We did have some pretzels and chips as well, but for the most part we stuck to a “light and healthy” theme…for skin care and snacking!

Overall, the party was definitely a success! My guests were so impressed with Cetaphil that they continued to talk about it throughout the rest of our gathering, even while they ate! Several of them said they’d be looking for Cetaphil the next time they visited the store!

My family loves drinking coffee and tea, especially my parents! My mom always adds sugar and cream to her coffee, but since she has type 2 diabetes, she has to watch her sugar consumption. As such, Sweet’N Low is a great sugar alternative for her to use to sweeten her coffee!

I also took some samples to my workplace, since like most working adults, many of my coworkers THRIVE on coffee (and probably rely on it a little too much to get through the work day)! I left some samples near the coffee-maker in one of the “break nooks” at my workplace, and I’m sure they were put to good use!

I’ve always found Sweet’N Low to be a nice sugar alternative that doesn’t have an aversive taste like some other artificial sweeteners. Since I watch and try to limit my sugar and calorie consumption, especially in drinks, Sweet’N Low is a great “zero calorie sweetener” for me to use. I was excited to be able to share my experience with Sweet’N Low with my family and friends for this sample and share, and hopefully help them become Sweet’N Low fans themselves!
